FIELD: operation of helicopters under critical conditions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes installation of blades on main rotor of helicopter, jettisoning of blades in case of damage to at least one blade and performing emergency landing. Even number of blades (no less than four) shall be installed on main rotor of helicopter; at the moment of damage, every other blade is jettisoned, damaged blade inclusive. Landing is performed by increase of main rotor revolutions creating adequate lifting force with the aid of remaining blades.
EFFECT: possibility of landing the helicopter with the aid of simple reliable means for rescue of personnel and equipment.
