SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the composition of cast iron and manufacturing the details of engines, heat aggregates and metallurgic equipment. The cast iron in question contains the components in the following ratio, weight%: carbon 3.2-4.0; silicon 1.6-2.0; manganese 0.2-0.6; yttrium 0.015-0.025; molybdenum 2.0-3.0; vanadium 0.8-1.5; calcium 0.04-0.08; iron - the rest. The innovation provides increased thermal shock resistance of the cast iron.
EFFECT: increased thermal shock resistance.
