SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to cast iron composition. Cast iron contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.8-4.0; silicon 1.4-1.6; manganese 0.15-0.25; rare-earth metals 0.08-0.12; vanadium 2.0-2.4; cobalt 1.4-1.8; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: enhanced thermal resistance of cast iron.
