FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designing of rocket engines with solid-propellant charges operating within wide temperature range, particularly, to fastening of solid-propellant charge to rocket engine body. Proposed method is designed for rocket engine bodies where elastic thermal protection coating or protective fastening layer is provided on inner surface of body. According to proposed method, inner surface of body is treated with sensitizer, for instance, solution of di-tert-butylantraquione in polar solvent. Then inner surface of body is subjected to ultraviolet irradiation by mercury-quartz lamp.
EFFECT: provision of high and reliable adhesion of propellant on rocket engine body, improved manufacturability and safety in process of preparation of rocket engine body of any complex configuration.
