FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammonia synthesis circuits containing gases, which do not participate in reaction and would accumulate if not purged away. Ammonia is removed from purge gas with the aid of adsorbing agent operated at full pressure of synthesis circuit. Adsorbing agent is selected in such a way as to allow ammonia to be removed by passing hydrogen and nitrogen containing gas through adsorbing agent at the same pressure as in that in the synthesis circuit. This also allows regeneration of adsorbing agent with fresh synthesis gas coming out of synthesis gas compressor immediately before its entering synthesis circuit.
EFFECT: minimized power consumption and use of equipment.
