FIELD: antenna engineering; nondirectional transmitting antennas operating in low-frequency band.
SUBSTANCE: proposed subsurface shunt-fed antenna is made in the form of N ≥ 2 tilted radiators mounted in boreholes which are parallel to slopes of hill. Vertical conductor is installed in additional borehole, its upper end being connected to upper ends of tilted radiators and lower one, to counterpoise. Additional tilted boreholes are also made to receive shunt conductors whose upper ends are connected to one of tilted radiators and lower ones, to outputs of band switch whose input is connected to coaxial feeder. Lower ends of tilted radiators are interconnected by means of additional circular conductor and connected through tuning components to counterpoise.
EFFECT: enhanced gain of antenna.
