FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: intermediate support for aerial electric lines of ultra high voltage contains posts, V-like isolating supports between adjacent posts for holding phase cables. In given support, four posts of constant or alternating section height-wise are used, fitted with at least one storm-protection cable, which are connected to cable posts, mounted on two middle posts, where edge posts are made with lesser mechanical hardness compared to middle posts. In second variant of invention, posts are made with equal mechanical strength and connected to each other in upper part by rigid traction bars. Posts may be connected to each other in its middle part by cross connections. Two storm protection cables may be used, which are connected to cable posts mounted on two middle posts.
EFFECT: increased operational characteristics of intermediate support.
