SUBSTANCE: electric toothbrush has elongated casing with handle, head, and narrowed part positioned between handle and head. Casing has inner cavity containing engine. Shaft is mechanically connected with engine. There is first bristle holder on head. Shaft is mechanically connected to first bristle holder so as to transmit motion thereto. First bristle holder has first composite bundle containing plurality of closely positioned bundles, and plurality of second bristle bundles. Height of second bundles exceeds height of first composite bundle. Ends of bristles of first composite bundle and ends of bristles of second bundles are free. Total area of bristle surfaces of first composite bundle exceeds total area of bristle surfaces of second bundles. Plurality of second bundles adjoins part of perimeter of composite bundle so as define slot. Two versions of embodiment of toothbrush are described in Specification.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing holding of tooth cleaning material and high-quality cleaning of teeth.
