FIELD: manufacture of rolled strips from low-carbon aluminum-killed steel. SUBSTANCE: method involves etching hot-rolled strips with preliminary tempering; providing continuous rolling at predetermined squeezing values, with relative squeezing values ranging between 2% and 4%. When strips having final thicknesses of 0.6-1.2 mm and 1.5-2.5 mm and carbon content of 0.015-0.030% are rolled, total relative squeezing is equal to 63-66% and 42-47%, respectively. When strips have above mentioned thickness and carbon content within the range of 0.04-0.06%, total squeezing values are equal to 69-72% and 52-56%, respectively. Thin cold-rolled low-carbon steel strips have improved pressing characteristic. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved consumer properties of rolled products. 1 tbl, 2 ex
