FIELD: railway transport; identification of radio frequency marks.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, information from radio frequency marks is read off by first antenna. Radio frequency marks are arranged on locomotive body, platform, car and wheelset. Radio frequency marks are spaced for reading information. Vector of polarization of first antenna coincides with vectors of polarization of antennas of radio frequency marks. To read information from radio frequency marks use is made of second antenna. Second antenna is arranged lower than rail head top level. Planes of second antenna of read off device and antenna of radio frequency mark are parallel and their vector of polarization is similar and located square to plane of first antenna.
EFFECT: improved reliability of read out information.
