FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organisation and control over railway traffic, namely to target braking systems, in particular to high-precision stoppage of electrical trains nearby platforms. Proposed method and system exploit radio-frequency identification (RFID) whereat consecutive read-off and processing of data from at least two passive RF marks mounted along railway track. Note here that first mark is mounted on approach to platform and another one is located, for example at the end of platform.
EFFECT: target braking of electrical trains.
