FIELD: transport engineering; railless road vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed trailer-train consists of prime mover with fifth-wheel coupled gear made for angular turning and linear displacement relative to chassis and engaging with pivot rigidly secured on support sheet of step of semitrailer frame. End part of cylindrical surface of pivot is provided with splines engaging with mating splines made inside swivel bushing. Bushing is installed for angular turning on turntable and is provided with pair of levers on its end face part. Levers are high-connected with tie-rods whose ends are also hinge-connected on chassis. Said fifth-wheel coupler gear is connected with chassis of prime mover by means of extension spring.
EFFECT: simplified design of support-and-coupled gear, reduced metal usage in gear.
