FIELD: gas pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises protecting member, device for detecting gas leakage from the pipeline whose outlet is connected with the unit for processing information that has differential amplifier whose outlet is connected with the indicator through the threshold device, and radio modem whose control inlet is connected with the outlet of the threshold device and output is connected with the monitoring unit. The device for detecting gas leakage from the gas pipeline is made of two-beam laser device whose optical axes are parallel to the axis of the gas pipeline. The device is optically matched to the laser device of the photodetector. The frequency of the first and the second probing laser beam is in coincidence and is not in coincidence with the absorption spectrum of the gas transported through the pipeline, respectively. The outputs of the photodetector are connected with the inputs of the differential amplifier.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
