FIELD: transport, pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used for diagnostics and servicing of the main pipelines at the points they cross railroads or highways. A branch pipe communicating with atmosphere is connected to the main pipeline protective casing, the said branch pipe being furnished with air supercharger and heater. Moisture content pickups are arranged inside the said branch pipe and casing, their outputs being connected to a comparator. The comparator output is connected to the controlled inputs of the said supercharger and heater. The proposed system incorporates water presence pickups fitted on the protective casing at various heights and a plug mounted in the protective casing lower part. If the air humidity inside the protective casing exceeds tolerances, cur-in signals are sent to the controlled inputs of the said supercharger and heater. Humid air is blown from the protective casing via exhaust plug to dry up the protective casing inner space. If water appears in the said protective casing, water presence pickups generate appropriate alarm signals that allows water removal through appropriate plug in due time.

EFFECT: higher safety of crossing.
