SUBSTANCE: method comprises supplying air sample containing organic molecules to the closed or flowing space that receives the source of ionization made of a polymeric film and ion collector, ionizing the organic molecules of the air sample by means of interaction of the organic molecules with the electrons entrained when molecules collide with the surface of the polymeric film, recording and analyzing the ion current of negatively charged ions by means of a spectrometer.
EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity.
