FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument engineering. The method implies formation of a steady air flow with analyte admixtures at nanostructured surface, cyclical irradiation of the target nanostructured surface with a pulsed laser beam with power density of 105-107 W/cm2, pulse duration not exceeding 10-4 s, wave length from 200 nm, laser pulse repetition frequency from 10 to 100 Hz, generation of the electric field at the nanostructured surface with the intensity of not less than 100 V/cm and recording ion mobility range. Temperature of the target nanostructured surface is altered during the analysis.
EFFECT: providing for rapid analysis and quality composition determination of the organic molecule trace amounts of explosion, narcotic or physiologically active substances in the air flow.
