FIELD: mechanical engineering; centrifuges.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifugal devices with auger discharge of sediment and it is designed for wet mechanical separation of mixes of hard substances. Proposed centrifuge contains rotor installed for rotation around horizontal axle and consisting of one cylindrical drum and two conical drums. Auger conveyor installed in rotor for rotation around the same axle is provided with two opposite helix augers. Centrifuge contains also devices for axial delivery of mix of hard substances into centrifuge and discharge holes for settled and floated product arranged in zone of ends of conical drum walls. Moreover, distributing device is installed on rotor to radially get inside and create different levels of liquids for floated-up and settled product. Separating device contains support ring leaving free ring clearance relative to shaft of auger conveyor.
EFFECT: provision of moisture content in floated-up and settled products independent from each other.
