FIELD: centrifuges.
SUBSTANCE: screw centrifuge comprises rotating drum that has the horizontal axis of rotation and embraces the centrifugal chamber, rotating screw mounted for permitting rotation inside the drum, at least one device for discharging liquid, and at least one device for discharging sediment. The liquid is discharged with the use of cutting disk downstream of which is the valving chamber. The valving chamber of the centrifuge is made of the pressure-tight valving chamber. The pipeline for supplying valving liquid is directly connected to the chamber. The screw centrifuge has the siphon disk that projects into the centrifugal chamber in radial direction.
EFFECT: simplified structure and enhanced convenience of servicing.
