FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method of measuring components of complex displacements of object is executed by means of optical system and includes use of visible test-object distributed in space and coupled with object under control forming of image in receiver of visible test-object where scale is formed and displacements of controlled objects are determined by displacement of image relative to scale. Used as test-object is section of straight line of known length L, scale is made in form of two virtual marks rigidly fixed at initial step of measurement on surface of image receiver in preliminary set two points of image of test-object. By distances from corresponding virtual marks to chosen three points of image of test-object formed from known elements of image of section L and displacements of said three points of image of test-object, displacement components of controlled object are determined characterizing its linear displacement along axis OX and turning around axis OY of Cartesian coordinate system during following measurement steps.

EFFECT: simplified measurement, increased information content, enlarged functional capabilities owing to provision of measurement of linear displacement of controlled object, increased accuracy.
