FIELD: navigation of moving objects.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in separation of signals of generalized coordinates of inertial system or its model in solving the orientation problem, forming the dampening signals, using these signals in control signals of gyroscope or its model, dampening the inertial system. Generalized coordinates are separated independently by comparing the similar information generated by inertial system with linear correction or its model.
EFFECT: possibility of dampening inertial systems without use of information from external sources.
