FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring mean values of pressure upstream of the diaphragm, mean values of pressure drop and temperature at the diaphragm with a discreteness equal to the minimum frequency in the spectrum of pulsations in the gas flow, determining varying component of the pressure drop, finding complete values of the pressure upstream of the diaphragm and pressure drop at the diaphragm by adding averaged values of pressure and pressure drop together with their varying component, and determining the mean root square of the production of the calculated complete values of pressure and pressure drop during the measuring cycle, which are used for the determination of the rate of the pulsating gas flow.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
