FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: binoculars has two-component objective, prism erecting system and eyepiece. First positive component of objective has glued positive and negative lenses. Second component is made in form of menisci turned with its concavity to object. Distance between first and second components is equal to 0,2-0,35 focal length of objective. Absolute value of optical power of second component equals to 0,6-0,9 optical power of objective. Prism erecting system is made in form of Pekhan prism or of second type Porro prism and is mounted at distance of 0,14-0,15 of focal distance of objective from second component for rotation around axis disposed in plane being perpendicular to optical axis of binoculars and placed in direction of object from entrance face of prism erecting system at distance being equal to 03,-1,2 distance between entrance and exit faces of Pekhan prism or 0,2-0,9 distance between entrance and exit faces of second-type Porro prism.
EFFECT: simplified design; ability of controlling observing line of binoculars to achieve image stabilization.
