FIELD: mobile communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: in the method a request is received for notification of object positioning in a unit of positioning service, provided in connection to communication system, where notification request contains information, connected to identification of mobile station and local area of interest. Then control is activated over event which indicates change in condition of presence of mobile station relatively to aforementioned area of interest. In response to detection of said event the notification is transmitted.
EFFECT: provision of client positioning information to users.
