FIELD: method for providing positioning information by means of communication system.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, in communication system a request is dispatched from an object concerning positioning information related to target user. Aforementioned request contains information, which identifies the request initiator object. On basis of identification information it is determined, whether the request initiator was sanctioned by target user for initiation of provision of aforementioned information. If yes, then provision of information about positioning of target user is initiated.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
