FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, hitches for combines.

SUBSTANCE: hitch has table formed as platform, left-hand and right-hand sides, horizontal unit and vertical doubled cutter knife, said horizontal unit and knife being equipped with drive. Table is formed as platform equipped with set of floors. Left-hand side is rigidly attached to table and right-hand side is adjustably attached to table. Seed discharge restricting device made in the form of triangular bar is positioned behind horizontal cutter knife. Drive for horizontal cutting unit consists of pivotal finger device and eccentric flange fixed on pulley by means of connecting rod so that vibratory motions are transmitted through spherical member to rocker arm. Second lever of rocker arm is connected to pivotal finger device of horizontal cutting unit blade. Drive for vertical cutter knife is connected through tie-rods of electric engine crankshaft to electric equipment of combine. Hitch for header enables harvesting of cereal crops, as well as leguminous and capsuliferous crops.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider range of crops harvested using header hitch of such construction.
