METHOD AND DEVICE FOR APPLYING PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61N2/04 A61N2/06 A61N5/06 A61F7/00

Abstract RU 2316364 C2

FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has at least four permanent magnets, infrared radiator, electromagnets and at least four optical range radiators of different radiation frequency, enclosed in casing manufactured from non-magnetic material and having working surface. Each electromagnet has two inductance coils having their ends attached to U-shaped core ends. The electromagnet cores are set at an angle of to the working surface of the casing , electromagnets coils windings are joined in series-parallel or parallel opposite way and are connected to frequency converter via working mode switches of the electromagnets. The frequency converter shapes signals as positive or negative sinusoid half-period, or the complete sinusoid, or their permissible combinations having frequency selected from the bandwidth of (0.1-1500) Hz. The frequency converter inputs are connected to feeding voltage unit. Permanent magnets are mounted between electromagnet poles in alternating polarity order in perpendicular to the working surface. The working surface has openings for receiving radiators operating in optical and infrared bandwidth, one opening being available in the center with infrared radiator mounted beneath and connected to feeding voltage unit via a switch. Optical bandwidth radiators allowing variable tilt angle option are connected to feeding voltage unit via corresponding switches. The frequency converter has controllable oscillator producing signals of frequency selected from the bandwidth of (0.1-1500) Hz. Its first control input is connected to current frequency master output having frequency control unit, the second control input is connected to amplitude control output included into controllable oscillator feedback circuit. Frequency converter output signal shaper is connected with its input to controllable oscillator output and with its output to output signal parameter display. Method involves applying treatment combining five physical factors, to patient skin. The factors are permanent magnetic field of not higher than 50 mTesla units intensity combined with alternating magnetic field of frequency selectable from the bandwidth of (0.1-1500) Hz; infrared radiation directed to or focused upon treatment zone; optical bandwidth electromagnetic radiation having radiation power controllable in the range of 5-40 mW; and heat treatment applicable by means of physiotherapeutic treatment device.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
