FIELD: processes and equipment for molding powdered products.

SUBSTANCE: molding zone formed in body of mold by means of through opening and lower punch placed in said through opening is coated with lubricant solution prepared at completely dissolving water-soluble lubricant in water while providing concentration of lubricant equal to or exceeding that causing formation of crystalline layer whose thickness is equal to one molecule of lubricant but less than saturation concentration. Then water is evaporated for forming crystalline layer with use heater arranged around molding zone. Molding zone is filled with initial powder and punches are introduced into through opening of mold for molding powdered article. Heater includes means for controlling temperature in range exceeding water evaporation temperature but being less than lubricant melting temperature. Salts on base of oxo acids, on base of phosphoric acid, on base of sulfur containing acids, on base of boric acid, on base of silicic acid, on base of tungstic acid, on base of organic acids, of nitrogen containing acids or salts on base of carbonic acid are used as lubricant.

EFFECT: possibility for stable production of highly compacted powder molded articles.
