FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes for production of hydrofined diesel fuel, in particular to diesel fuel production process involving hydrofining of diesel fractions at elevated temperature and pressure in presence of alumino-cobalt-molybdenum or alumino-nickel-molybdenum catalyst charged into two reactor and carrying out regeneration of deactivated catalyst by precisely supplying air to inert gas flow when burning zone moves from one catalyst bed to another and by gradually raising temperature up to 500-540°C. After first running cycle, catalyst charged into first reactor is regenerated while second reactor, before regeneration in the first reactor is started, is stopped in order the regeneration products to be bypassed catalyst charged therein.
EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency.
