FIELD: production of hydrocarbons.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed for pressure feeding of nondried gases and gas mixtures by positive displacement machines. Proposed compressor with hydraulic seal contains drive reciprocating-action part, plunger or piston type booster, compression chamber with suction liquid and gad valves, delivery valve and pump to deliver hydraulic seal liquid. Compression chamber consists of central cylindrical section and two truncated conical sections, upper and lower ones. To coordinate kinematic of drive part with optimum conditions of movement of hydraulic seal owing to shaping of compression chamber, invention provides relations of ratios of geometrical dimensions of sections of compression chamber (maximum diameter of compression chamber, height if its cylindrical and conical sections, smaller diameter of conical section). Upper conical part of compression chamber is directly mated with seat of delivery valve. Minimum diameter of conical section is equal to inner diameter of seat of delivery valve, and inner surface of seat is made in form of torus surface convex to side of valve with radius exceeding height of seat.
