FIELD: oil and gas well drilling, completing and operating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compression and transfer of gas, particularly, to device for topping-up low-pressure up to 20-30 MPa and its delivery to consumer. Proposed device contains reciprocating booster with drive, vertical cylindrical compression chamber with suction gas and delivery valves in upper part and liquid valve, mechanical gas-liquid separator and feed pump. Mechanical gas-liquid separator is made in form of float overlapping cross section of chamber. Floatability of float is defined by expression where is density of separator; is density of liquid. Holes are made over periphery of float to pass hydraulic seal liquid, and drive of booster is made high-speed. Summary of through holes in float is chosen to provide passing of amount of liquid Vl providing stability phase from equation Vl = hff*Scch, where hff is depth of float underfooding in top dead center; Scch is area of cross section of compression chamber. Mechanical gas-liquid separator is made in form of cylindrical float with height h meeting the following inequality: where n is number of booster drive revolutions; is liquid density; is density of separator. Compression chamber can be provided with inner conical surface in upper part, and upper of float can be made with conical form corresponding to said conical surface. Longitudinal slots to pass hydraulic seal liquid can be made in upper part of float. Summary through section of all slots should provide stability of delivery phase, and height of float should comply with inequality stated above.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation of device owing to prevention of clogging of capillary channels in mechanical gas-liquid separator.
