SUBSTANCE: invention relates to early detection of unstable operation of gas-turbine engine compressor at starting basing on information related to dynamic of changes of ratio of first derivatives of controlled parameters and . Proposed method comes to measuring gas temperature after low-pressure turbine, speed of high-pressure rotor determining of first time derivative of parameter and parameter . According to invention ratio of first derivative of parameter to first derivative of parameter , i.e. is determined additionally and, basing on preliminarily set reserves of gas dynamic stability of compressor at starting, maximum tolerable value is formed and is compared with , and if , logic signal 1 is formed stating compressor stall. is compared with at change of speed from 20% to 38%. Gas temperature after low-pressure turbine is measured by quick-response chromel-alumel thermocouple with open hot junction. Numerical value 50 [°C/%] is used as maximum tolerable value .
EFFECT: provision of quick diagnosing of unstable operation of compressor at starting.
