FIELD: communications engineering, possible use for realization of hierarchical encoding in radio communication system.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, main stream and extended stream are encoded and modulated separately in transmitter to produce first and second streams of data symbols, respectively. First data symbol stream is processed in accordance to first circuit of spatial processing to produce first set of symbol sub-streams. Second stream of data symbols is processed in accordance to second circuit of spatial processing to produce second set of symbol sub-streams. First set of symbol sub-streams is combined with second set of sub-streams of symbols to produce a set of transmission symbol streams for transmission by a set of transmitting antennas. The receiver performs additional processing to restore main stream and extended stream.

EFFECT: ensured communication with a set of users.
