SUBSTANCE: in the method, procedure is initiated, which is meant for setting up a communication line between first user equipment and second user equipment through a communication network. Information concerning at least two modes of communication, which may be used for communication through communication line, is transmitted between first and second user equipment. Indicator concerning mode used for communication is also transmitted between first user equipment and second user equipment. After signal transmission stages, the procedure meant for setting mode of communication in accordance to indicator, is initiated in at least one user equipment.
