FIELD: agriculture, in particular, sprinkler units or sprayers for irrigation of farm crops.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler head comprises pressure pipeline with nozzle, hermetically sealed chamber attached by means of hollow brackets to pressure pipeline, with cavity of said chamber being communicated through hollow brackets with pressure pipeline. Vertical pin extending centrally of hermetically sealed chamber is pivotally fixed for rotation between said chamber and base connected to lower part of said chamber through bolted connections. Horizontal rod is rigidly fixed on upper free end of vertical pin. Weather cock is fixed at one end of horizontal rod and covering plate is pivotally fixed at other end of horizontal rod. Flat canvas is positioned in lower part of covering plate. Channel provided within horizontal rod is terminated with mini-nozzle extending in horizontal plane close to covering plate. Said channel is communicated to cavity of hermetically sealed chamber through passageway provided in upper part of vertical pin. Deflector is made in the form of cone having apex angle of 125 deg and rigidly fixed in inclined position on lower free end of vertical pin, with cone base being inclined in opposite direction with respect to weather cock so that axis of symmetry of cone is declined from vertical pin by angle not in the excess of 18 deg.
EFFECT: provision for avoiding reduction in jet discharge distance and irrigation area in windward direction, and uniform moistening of land under irrigation process in windy and windless weather.
