FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to fulfill skeletal traction, form two foramens at the level of metaphysis at opposite sides of a tubular bone or along one foramen from opposite sides at the level of metaphysis and opposite metaphysis. Foramens should be formed up to the exit into medullary canal to introduce through them the curved intramedullary reinforcing needles up to the opposite metaphysis. These needles should be orientated with their curvatures to be one plane but oppositely to each other. The needles' ends from the side of their introduction should be cut and folded under the skin followed by applying the apparatus of external fixation. The innovation provides stable fixation, stimulation of osteogenesis and decreased traumatism.
EFFECT: shortened terms of therapy.
