FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves suppressing functioning of extramacular fixing region of squinting eye retina. Suppression is carried out with diode laser having wavelength of 532 nm by placing 6-8 coagulates of the 2-3 degree after l'Esperase over extramacular fixing region of squinting eye retina in tiling order with Panfundus lens being used. Action energy is 0.1-0.2 W, treatment time is 0.10.15 s, coagulate diameter is equal to 100 mcm. Surgical squint correction is carried out at the next day.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
