FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing vitrectomy, introducing perfluororganic substance (PFOS) into vitreous body cavity. It is left in eye cavity for 5-7 days. Laser coagulation of the retina is carried out in transpupillary mode at the second day. The treatment is intensified when required in the following 2-3 days. Laser endocoagulation is carried out after administering PFOS when local traction amotio retinae is the case. Laser coagulation is carried out at the second day in transpupillary mode.
