SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extract from Echinacea angustifolia rootstock containing certain amount of alkylamides, echinacoside, polysaccaride wherein said polysaccaride comprises of rhamnose, arabinose, galactose, and galacturic acid in specific ratio. Method for extract production includes extraction of Echinacea angustifolia rootstock with organic solvent or organic solvent/water mixture in specific water content and successive washing of integrated and concentrated extracts with non-polar solvent, extraction of Echinacea angustifolia rootstock with water or organic solvent/water mixture in specific water content, and blending of previously obtained extracts. Claimed extract is useful in treatment of pathological conditions wherein recruiting of immune system is preferable, as well as for production of pharmaceutical and nutrient compositions and food supplements in combination with acceptable fillers and/or carriers.

EFFECT: extract, compositions and supplements with increased immunostimulating action.
