FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out maxillary sinus puncture. The sinus is washed with sterile physiologic saline. Both maxillary sinus puncture and washing are done once during a session. Then, 10 ml of methylene blue photosensitizer solution is introduced into the sinus, taken in 0.5 mcmole/l dilution. Then, light guide connected to laser apparatus is introduced into the sinus. 10 min later after having introduced the photosensitizer solution into the sinus, mucous membrane and retinal labyrinth cells are irradiated without removing the light guide. Wavelength is equal to 0.67 mcm and power of 20 mW is applied for 10 min.
EFFECT: accelerated treatment session; maximum therapeutic efficiency achieved.
