FIELD: mixed feed industry, in particular, equipment for grinding of farm crops for producing of feeds for animals.

SUBSTANCE: hammer-type grinder has casing with cover, separator-stone catcher attached to cover outer surface, and deck-grid attached to cover inner surface and consisting of two rings with slots. Spaced apart rods of square section positioned between rings in parallel with one another are provided with helical grooves. Rods are designed for rotation within ring slots. There is also electric engine with shaft carrying outside fan and hammer rotor made in the form of hub with inner and outer disks between said rings. Pins are positioned between said disks, each of said pins being provided with set of hammers. Blades of outside fan are attached to inner disk of hammer rotor and positioned behind deck-grid. Additional fan with curved blades is placed within hammer rotor on electric engine shaft. Housing of outside fan is made in the form of detachable Archimedes spiral. Flexible discharge hose is attached to discharge branch pipe of casing.

EFFECT: increased capacity of grinder, improved quality of ready product, reduced metal usage and decreased consumption of power, enhanced reliability in operation of hammer-type grinder.
