FIELD: controlling and measuring technique used for pneumatic controlling and sorting of cylindrical parts.
SUBSTANCE: controlling-sorting automatic machine has charging apparatus, conveyor with drive, measuring device connected to measuring instrument, actuating devices, parts accumulator, control system equipped with memory unit and connected to actuating devices, measuring instrument, and drive. Measuring device has two pneumatic measuring members for controlling length and diameter of cylindrical parts positioned perpendicular to each other and defining two measuring positions with single datum surface, nozzle system, said nozzles being connected to measuring instrument. Measuring instrument has two two-channel pneumoelectronic length meters. Each measuring channel comprises measuring chamber with pneumoelectronic converter, measurement processing unit and is connected with one pair of measuring nozzles.
EFFECT: increased controlling precision and enhanced reliability in operation.
