FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is designed on increasing the accuracy of measuring and expansion of the field of usage of non-invasive plugs. The indicated technical result is achieved by the fact that the mode of measuring of the diameter of openings is in feeding gas into measuring chambers of a pneumatic measuring device and further through the nozzles installed in the pneumatic plug into measuring clearances between the surface of the opening and the end-faces surfaces of the nozzles in tuning the limits of measurements by way of turn-by-turn installation on the pneumatic plug of tuning details, in installation of the pneumatic plug in the controlled opening, in measuring its diameter and roughness of the surface of the opening by the value of the changing of the measuring clearances and the corresponding changes of pressure in the measuring chambers of the device by way of subtraction of the value of roughness of its surface out of measured value of the diameter of the opening, reflection of the results of measuring roughness and the value of the diameter of the opening on the indicator of the measuring device.
EFFECT: increases accuracy and expands the field of application of non-invasive pneumatic plugs.
