SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting to grinding wheel and dressing roller opposite-sign rotation; imparting rotation to dressing roller from pneumatic drive having circumferential velocity in contact point of dressing roller with grinding wheel approximately equal to circumferential velocity of grinding wheel at providing their rolling around; setting desired revolution number of roller by regulating air pressure fed to pneumatic drive.
EFFECT: reduced wear degree, high cutting capability, developed micro-relief of grinding wheel, improved grinding quality, enhanced efficiency and operational stability of grinding wheel.
