FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: correcting is performed in two stages as to generate first roughing, then finishing profile of the grinding wheel with a certain depth changes. The first stage is carried out at a peripheral speed of the grinding wheel, the value of which is equal to or greater than the peripheral speed of the diamond roller. In the second stage, the magnitude of changes and the depth of feed of the diamond roller are reduced, meanwhile the amplitude and oscillation frequency of the grinding wheel to the process of editing and providing its cutting ability are controlled, depending on which the cycle time changes are set in mentioned step. The maximum value of the amplitude and frequency of oscillation corresponds to the time changes in the first phase, and the minimum value - the time changes in the second stage.
EFFECT: increased productivity and processing quality of manufactured parts and reduced consumption of grinding wheels.
