FIELD: textile industry and polymer materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of heat-activated backs representing textile warps or nonwoven backs, onto whose surface thermoplastic polymer points are applied, said points being capable of reinforcing clothing object by attaching to it when exposed to a certain pressure on heating. In particular, invention provides a method of fabricating above back using electron bombardment in order to locally change melting point and/or viscosity of polymer, which itself is a subject matter of invention. More specifically, thermoplastic polymer points are applied onto front face of textile warp or nonwoven back and its back side is subjected to electron bombardment. Above thermoplastic polymer points are made from a thermoplastic polymer based on at least one functionally substituted polymer with its functional groups capable of reacting with free radicals under effect of electron bombardment and/or being themselves free radical generators under the same electron bombardment. Electron penetration depth in the polymer points is controlled such as to achieve self-linking of functionally substituted polymer at a limited depth e in relation to average depth E of the polymer points.

EFFECT: enhanced adhesiveness of textile backs.
