FIELD: the invention refers to radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: the proposed mode of detection of a target with the aid of a radar set with a transmitting arrangement for generation of the packets of radar impulses, at that for each scanning k including definite number (Nb) of packets, on the first stage they preliminary choose in a reliable threshold field a radiolocation cell, on the second stage they initialize the processing with the method "Trajectory-Before-Detection" of preliminary chosen cells using a trajectory filter for building reliable threshold field for the following scanning k+1, after that the both these stages are repeated from scanning to scanning.
EFFECT: the invention may find application in the survey radar set for example in a radar set with large quantity of beams formed along the angular of place and also in more common case in radar sets of any type.
