FIELD: mechanical engineering; mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process of screening of rock into fractions and it can be used for screening crushed stone, gravel, ore, coal, etc. Proposed device consists of frame which carries longitudinal drive axles with polyhedral disks forming trough-like screening surface. Fixed housings are installed on frame at extreme axles. Lower part of housings is made in form of rack getting onto spaces between disks. Auger is installed on frame along troughs over axles with disks. Auger is divided into sections and is wound with elastic material. Each section can rotate at angular velocity different from angular velocities of other sections. Charging chute is installed over auger. Discharge chute is located on end of trough on frame.
EFFECT: increased capacity and quality of screening, reduced possibility of formation of blockages owing to control of material travel velocity.
