FIELD: separation or sorting of solid materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of various lumpy and granular materials by fractions. Loose material screening device comprises a screening surface made in the form of multi-sided disks mounted on the frame with the possibility of co-directed rotation of shafts. Disks of two diameters with alternation are installed on the first three shafts on loading side. Discs of larger diameter are installed with angular displacement relative to each other with their formation by tops of screw lines, with possibility of movement and withdrawal of large fraction of material in direction of side wall. Behind shafts with screw disposition of disks, along last of them, vertical screen is installed. Screen is turned towards coarse fraction outlet, wherein projection of screen on sieving surface is located to axis of shaft at angle α, making 15–25°.

EFFECT: device differs by compactness and provides efficient separation of sorted material by particle size into more than two fractions.
