FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely methods for static-pulse working of screws.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mounting in fixed position deforming member in the form of ring embracing blank and rigidly secured to supporting plate of machine tool; applying static load to blank and imparting to it lengthwise feed. Said ring has inner surface whose profile corresponds to that of recess of worked blank of screw. Blank is mounted with possibility of free rotation around lengthwise axis and it is eccentrically shifted by means of four-cam chuck mounted on mandrel. Said four-cam chuck is arranged between blank and wave-guide. Periodic pulse load is applied to wave-guide by means of striker arranged in hydraulic cylinder supplied from hydraulic pulse generator. Wave-guide and striker are in the form of rods of the same diameters.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities.
