SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 2.8-3.2; silicon, 0.5-1.0; manganese, 3.0-4.0; chromium, 16.0-24.0; zirconium, 0.1-0.2; boron, 0.1-0.2; niobium, 0.1-0.2; calcium, 0.01-0.02; copper, 0.1-0.2; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced hardenability of cast iron.
